New Requirement

Reporting Leave: Texas Government Code, Section 661.923(c), as added by Senate Bill 73 (85th Legislature, Regular Session) requires state agencies and higher education institutions to report leave granted to employees during an investigation by the agency or higher education institution.

The State Classification Team, located within the State Auditor's Office, is responsible for maintaining the State's compensation and classification system, analyzing state workforce issues, and providing information on employee compensation issues to the Legislature.

Requesting Information from the State Classification Team

Routine questions from state agencies and higher education institutions should be directed to the appropriate classification analyst.
